Irfan Foundation launched the “Giras” initiative to plant olive trees in Palestine in order to support the local economy and strengthen the Palestinian presence in the land. This initiative aims to plant 10,000 olive trees by the end of the year, thus contributing to improving the livelihoods of many Palestinian families. This initiative falls within the foundation’s efforts to promote sustainable development and protect the environment.
Supporting the local economy and strengthening the Palestinian presence.
Olive trees are a symbol of resistance and peace in Palestine, and the Irfan Foundation aims to provide concrete support to local farmers through the “Girâs” initiative. The initiative includes training farmers on best agricultural practices, as well as providing olive seedlings and equipment necessary for farming. This project contributes to increasing agricultural productivity and strengthening the local economy in line with sustainable development goals, especially the second goal of eliminating hunger and ensuring food security.
